Please read the following instructions before completing the official entry form.

• Print or type information on entry form.
• Sign your entry form.
• Enclose a copy of your birth certificate and/or proof of citizenship or residency.
• The entry form must be received by the MCH Committee by July 31, 2009 by 5:00 pm.
• Email your entry form and necessary enclosures to info@misschinatown.com or mail to: Miss Chinatown Hawaii Pageant, 42 N. King Street, Honolulu, HI  96817.

 

Important Notes

• Decisions made by the Miss Chinatown Hawaii Pageant Committee in all matters relating to qualification standards and selection of contestants shall be deemed final.
• If you are selected to participate in the pageant, you will receive an acceptance letter and other information regarding the pageant by mail
• Selected information from the entry form may be used for news release purposes.
• The photos sent with your form will not be returned to you.
• Please be sure to complete the form with your legal name.

Qualifications of a Contestant

• You must be a United States Citizen or a permanent resident of Hawaii.
• You must have a Chinese surname.
• You must be single, never married, and never had a marriage annulled.
• You must not be pregnant or have been a parent.
• You must be at least 18 years of age and not over 26 on January 31, 2009. You can be a former contestant of the Miss Chinatown Hawaii pageant but not a title-holder.
• You must have a talent presentation for the talent competition phase of the pageant.
• You must not be or have ever been a "professional" entertainer or model. You are deemed a "professional" if:

  (i) Your federal income tax return states your occupation as an entertainer, model, or singer.

  (ii) More than half of your working time is spent as a performer.
